Abstract
In this study a 3D model of a yarn pure bending is introduced. The main focus of the study is on the realization of a 3D yarn geometrical model, incorporation of anisotropic material properties and validation of yarn finite element meso-model using experimental results. The material properties of yarn were assumed linear orthotropic. The required engineering constants were obtained from experimentally measured tensile, compression diagrams of a pp-glass yarn. The accuracy of the applied engineering constants was investigated by FE modeling of yarn pure bending.

Fabric Surface Hairiness Evaluation by Image Analysis

Abstract
 
The main aim of this contribution is description of a new approach for contact less evaluation of fabric surface hairiness. This approach is based on the image analysis of especially prepared fabric images. For obtaining the hairiness profile (total hairs area at distance from fabric surface relative to one centimetre length intervals) in the selected direction (on the line transect in the cross direction the fabric surface) the special arrangements of textile bend around sharp edge is realized. The image analysis is used for extraction of hairiness profile. The system of controlled movement allows obtaining hairiness profiles in two dimensions (hairiness in the set of selected places of the whole plane). From these results it is possible to estimate variability of hairiness in machine and cross directions. For characterization of surface hairiness variation in the plane, the so-called quadrate method is used. The applicability of this approach for fabric surface hairiness evaluation is demonstrated on the selected cotton type fabric.

Textile Texture Identification by Digital Image Analysis

Abstract

Texture identification and matching a sample fabric with in a known collection of produced fabrics is a time-consuming and difficult process as a human activity. In this study, a computational method for texture textile identification is introduced using image analysis method. For this purpose, the fabrics images were captured by a digital flat scanner. The
texture features were extracted using Edge frequency method, in which a gradient for all pixels of the texture is computed and the texture features are defined as average values of gradient in specified distance and also Gray Level co-occurrence Matrix as a well-known method. In this way, a library of texture features was collected. To match a new texture with the library samples, the closest texture feature based on Euclidian distance was identified as the fabric texture. The experimental results with 33 different textures showed successful identification of textures with both of these methods however edge frequency method is more feasible and acceptable according to its computational simplicity and lower processing time. In addition, it was shown that the edge frequency method is well insensitive to the color and scanning direction (rotating the sample) of fabric.

Using Rubber Nozzle for the Evaluation of Fabric's Bending Rigidity

Abstract
A novel method of evaluating fabrics' bending rigidity is presented using rubber nozzles. Reversible expansion of the rubber nozzle can solve the hardship of choosing the optimal radius of the conventional solid nozzles for different fabrics Bending behaviour of the 19 woven fabrics of different varieties was evaluated by KES and the values were the base of
comparison. The samples were also extracted through a 25 mm diameter rubber ring (extendable to 35 mm) and the nominal slope angle of each curve, calculated from the starting point to the maximum extraction point (Fig. 2) was subsequently measured. Very high level of correlation (0.92) between the curves' nominal slopes and the bending rigidity
of the samples is observed using multiple regression analysis. High correlation of the data in this experiment recommends using rubber nozzles instead of normal solid openings for the evaluation of fabric properties.

ﻣﻘﺪﻣﻪ
در ﺑﺮرﺳﻲ و ﻣﻄﺎﻟﻌﻪی وﻳﮋﮔﻲﻫﺎی ﭘﺎرﭼﻪ، رﻓﺘﺎر ﺧﻤﺸﻲ ﻣﺎﻧﻨﺪ زﻳﺮ دﺳﺖ، آوﻳﺰش و ﻣﻘﺎوﻣﺖ در ﺑﺮاﺑﺮ ﭼـﺮوک اﻫﻤﻴـﺖ ﺑﺴـﺰاﻳﻲ دارد. ﺳﺨﺘﻲ ﺧﻤﺸﻲ ﻛﻪ ﺑﻪ ﻋﻨﻮان ﭘﺎراﻣﺘﺮی ﺟﻬﺖ ﺑﻴﺎن ﺧﻮاص ﺧﻤﺸﻲ ﭘﺎرﭼﻪ ﺗﻌﺮﻳﻒ ﺷﺪه اﺳﺖ، ﻣﻘﺎوﻣـﺖ ﭘﺎرﭼـﻪ را در ﺑﺮاﺑـﺮ ﺧﻤﺶ ﻧﺸﺎن ﻣﻲ دﻫﺪ. در ﻣﻮارد ﻣﻬﻨﺪﺳﻲ رﻓﺘﺎر ﺧﻤﺸﻲ ﺑﻪ ﺻﻮرت ﺧﻄﻲ ﻓﺮض ﻣﻲ ﺷﻮد و ﺳﺨﺘﻲ ﺧﻤﺸﻲ ﺑﻪ ﻋﻨﻮان ﺛـﺎﺑﺘﻲ در ﺗﻨﺎﺳﺐ ﻣﻴﺎن ﻣﻤﺎن وارد ﺷﺪه و ﺷﻌﺎع اﻧﺤﻨﺎی اﻳﺠﺎد ﺷﺪه ﺗﻌﺮﻳﻒ ﻣﻲﺷﻮد. ﻋﻠﻲرﻏﻢ ﺗﻌﺮﻳﻒ ﻓﻮق ﻣﻌﻤﻮﻻً ﺧﻤﺶ ﭘﺎرﭼـﻪ ﻫـﺎ ﻏﻴـﺮ ﺧﻄﻲ اﺳﺖ ﻛﻪ دﻟﻴﻞ اﻳﻦ اﻣﺮ ﺗﺸﻜﻴﻞ ﺷﺪن ﭘﺎرﭼﻪ از اﺟﺰای ﻟﻴﻔﻲ اﺳﺖ [ . 1و2و4 ]اوﻟﻴﻦ ﻛﺎر ﺗﺠﺮﺑﻲ روی اﻧﺪازهﮔﻴﺮی واﻗﻌﻲ ﺧﻮاص ﻣﻜﺎﻧﻴﻜﻲ ﭘﺎرﭼﻪ در ﺳﺎل 1930 ﺗﻮﺳﻂ ﭘﻴﺮس اﻧﺠﺎم ﺷﺪه اﺳـﺖ . روش اراﺋـﻪ ﺷﺪه ﺗﻮﺳﻂ ﭘﻴﺮس روﺷﻲ اﺳﺘﺎﻧﺪارد ﺑﻮده و ﺑﺮای ﺑﺮرﺳﻲ رﻓﺘﺎر ﺧﻤﺸﻲ اﻛﺜﺮ ﭘﺎرﭼﻪ ﻫﺎ ﻣﻨﺎﺳﺐ ﻣﻲﺑﺎﺷـﺪ . در اﻳـﻦ روش ﻣﻄـﺎﺑﻖ ﺷﻜﻞ 1 ﻳﻚ ﻧﻤﻮﻧﻪ ﭘﺎرﭼﻪ ﺑﺎ اﺑﻌﺎد 1×6 in روی ﻳﻚ ﺳﻜﻮ و زﻳﺮ ﺧﻂﻛﺶ ﻗﺮار ﻣﻲﮔﻴﺮد و ﺑﺎ ﻫﻞ دادن ﺧﻂﻛﺶ ﺑﻪ ﺟﻠـﻮ، ﭘﺎرﭼـﻪ ﺣﺮﻛﺖ ﻛﺮده ﺗﺎ ﺑﻪ زاوﻳﻪی ﻣﻌﻴﻨﻲ ﻧﺴﺒﺖ ﺑﻪ اﻓﻖ ﺑﺮﺳﺪ. در اﻳﻦ ﻣﻮﻗﻌﻴﺖ، ﻃﻮل ﻧﻤﻮﻧﻪ از روی ﺧـﻂ ﻛـﺶ ﺧﻮاﻧـﺪه ﺷـﺪه و ﻃـﻮل ﺧﻤﺶ ﻳﻌﻨﻲ ﻃﻮﻟﻲ از ﭘﺎرﭼﻪ ﻛﻪ ﺗﺤﺖ وزن ﺧﻮدش ﺑﺎ زاوﻳﻪای ﻣﻌﻴﻦ ﻧﺴﺒﺖ ﺑﻪ اﻓﻖ ﺧﻢ ﻣﻲﺷﻮد، ﺑﺎ ﻓﺮﻣﻮلﻫـﺎی زﻳـﺮ ﻣﺤﺎﺳـﺒﻪ ﻣﻲﺷﻮد

Prediction of the Frictional Properties of Woven Fabric by Artificial Neural Network

Abstract
It has been found that friction of fabric is dependant on fabric structure. In this investigation, Artificial Neural Networks have been used to model the relation between fabric structure and frictional properties of fabrics. In order to do that, one set of data was extracted from the literature available. This dataset was divided into two groups: Train data and Test data. Test data were not used for training of the networks whereas train data were employed. Fabric structures, Weft density, Finish and unfinished fabric, Weft yarn count and type of weft yarn were inputs and the outputs were static and dynamic friction forces in both warp-over-warp and weft-over-weft directions. Parameters of artificial neural networks were selected to provide the best results for the system. The results show that the use of artificial neural networks in order to predict the static and dynamic friction force has been successful.

ﭼﻜﻴﺪه
1 زﺑﺮی ﺳﻄﻮح ﻣﻮﺟﺐ ﺗﻘﻮﻳﺖ ﺧﺎﺻﻴﺖ آﺑﮕﺮﻳﺰی ﻣﻲ ﮔﺮدد. ﺳﻄﻮح اﺑﺮآﺑﮕﺮﻳﺰ ﺗﺎﺛﻴﺮ ﺑﻪ ﺳﺰاﻳﻲ در ﺧﻮد ﺗﻤﻴﺰ ﺷﻮﻧﺪﮔﻲ  ﺳﻄﺢ دارد. ﺑﻬﺘﺮﻳﻦ ﻣﺜﺎل از ﻳﻚ ﺳﻄﺢ اﺑﺮ آﺑﮕﺮﻳﺰ ﺧﻮد ﺗﻤﻴﺰ ﺷﻮﻧﺪه ، ﺑﺮگ ﮔﻴﺎه ﻧﻴﻠﻮﻓﺮ آﺑﻲﻣﻲ ﺑﺎﺷﺪ. در اﻳﻦ ﻛﺎر ﺗﺤﻘﻴﻘﺎﺗﻲ ﺧﺎﺻﻴﺖ ﺧﻮد ﺗﻤﻴﺰ ﺷﻮﻧﺪﮔﻲ ﻣﻨﺴﻮﺟﺎت ﺗﻜﻤﻴﻞ ﺷﺪه ﺑﺎ ﻧﺎﻧﻮ ذرات ﺑﻪ ﻛﻤﻚ ﻳﻚ ﻣﺪل ﺗﺌﻮری ﺑﺮرﺳﻲ ﺷﺪ. ﻧﺘﺎﻳﺞ ﺣﺎﺻﻠﻪ ﻧﺸﺎن ﻣﻲ دﻫﺪ ﻛﻪ ﺧﺎﺻﻴﺖ ﺧﻮد ﺗﻤﻴﺰ ﺷﻮﻧﺪﮔﻲ ﻣﻨﺴﻮﺟﺎت ﺗﺎﺑﻊ ﺑﺮﺧﻲ از ﭘﺎراﻣﺘﺮﻫﺎی ﺳﻄﺢ از ﺟﻤﻠﻪ ارﺗﻔﺎع ﻧﺎﻧﻮ ذرات در ﺳﻄﺢ ﻣﻨﺴﻮج ﻣﻲ ﺑﺎﺷﺪ .

ﭼﻜﻴﺪه
در اﻳﻦ ﺗﺤﻘﻴﻖ ﺑﺮای درﺟﻪ ﺑﻨﺪی ﭼﺮوک ﭘﺎرﭼﻪ از روش رﺗﺒﻪﺑﻨﺪی ﻣﻨﻈﻢ ﺑﻪ ﺟﺎی اﺳﺘﻔﺎده از ﻧﻤﻮﻧﻪﻫﺎی ﺷﺎﻫﺪ اﺳﺘﺎﻧﺪارد ﺑﻬﺮه ﮔﺮﻓﺘﻪ ﺷﺪه اﺳﺖ. ﭘﺲ از آﻧﻜﻪ درﺟﻪ ﺑﻨﺪی ﻧﻤﻮﻧﻪﻫﺎ ﺑﺎ اﺳﺘﻔﺎده از اﻳﻦ روش اﻧﺠﺎم ﺷﺪ، ﺑﺎ اﺳﺘﻔﺎده از ﻧﻮر ﭘﺮدازی ﻣﻨﺎﺳﺐ از ﻫﺮ ﻳﻚ از ﻧﻤﻮﻧﻪﻫﺎ ﻋﻜﺲ ﮔﺮﻓﺘﻪ ﺷﺪ. ﺗﺼﺎوﻳﺮ ﭘﺮدازش ﮔﺮدﻳﺪ و ﻃﻮل ﺧﻄﻮط ﭼﺮوک اﻧﺪازهﮔﻴﺮی ﺷﺪ ﺗﺎ ﺷﺎﺧﺺﻫﺎی ﭼﺮوک ﮔﺰارش ﮔﺮدد. ﻧﺘﺎﻳﺞ ﻧﺸﺎن ﻣﻲدﻫﺪ ﻛﻪ ﻫﻤﺒﺴﺘﮕﻲ ﺧﻮﺑﻲ ﺑﻴﻦ درﺟﻪﺑﻨﺪیﻫﺎی ﺣﺎﺻﻞ از روش رﺗﺒﻪﺑﻨﺪی ﻣﻨﻈﻢ و ﺷﺎﺧﺺﻫﺎی ﭼﺮوک وﺟﻮد دارد. ﺑﻨﺎﺑﺮاﻳﻦ ﻣﻲﺗﻮان از روش اراﺋﻪ ﺷﺪه ﺑﺮای درﺟﻪ ﺑﻨﺪی ﭼﺮوک ﭘﺎرﭼﻪﻫﺎ ﺑﻬﺮه ﮔﺮﻓﺖ ﺗﺎ از ﻣﺸﻜﻼت روش اﺳﺘﺎﻧﺪارد ﻣﺎﻧﻨﺪ ﺣﻀﻮر ﻧﻤﻮﻧﻪﻫﺎی ﺷﺎﻫﺪ، داﻣﻨﻪ ﻣﺤﺪود درﺟﻪﻫﺎ و ﻓﺎﺻﻠﻪﻫﺎی زﻳﺎد ﺑﻴﻦ ﻫﺮ ﺟﻔﺖ ﻧﻤﻮﻧﻪ ﺷﺎﻫﺪ، ﺟﻠﻮﮔﻴﺮی ﻛﺮد.
