AbstractClothing industry must produce high quality production, in relation to needs of users to various products. Puckering phenomenon is made because of improper adjustments of sewing parameters according to fabric features. Many researches have been done to remove this phenomenon. The most important and effective parameters on woven fabric puckering are stitch type, fabric density, needle size, yarn count and so on. In this research, fabric density, needle size, yarn count and stitch type are considered to investigate of their effects on puckering. The results showed that the lowest puckering appears in the lower density of fabrics. The chain stitch caused lower shrinkage and accordingly, lower puckering, than lockstitch. Also with thinner yarns and needles puckering decreases more.
