Investigation of Protective Garment Characteristics Used in the Car Paint Spray Cabins

Abstract
Textile is one of the basic industries that has a special position in other engineering field. Automotive industry is one of the most impotant of them. Application of different kinds of textiles in seat clothing, interior covering, using of fiber composite in car fenders are some examples of them. Application of suitable fabric in workers' protective clothing is one of it's examples. Workers' comfort during working and not to create small particles and their resistance against chemical materials are important factors that should be considered. There are no specific standards in this field so in this paper, in addition to characterization these fabrics, 11 fabric samples were tested and their properties were analyzed and suitable fabrics for workers' clothing were suggested.
